The Independent General Practice (The IGP) is a Private GP service which was established in 2004 when it became the first private doctors to be registered with the Health Inspectorate for Wales (HIW). All medical treatments are administered by GMC registered Doctors and our premises, staff and processes are routinely monitored to ensure that you are given the best level of care possible. You can expect to be more relaxed & comfortable in an environment that is geared towards providing you and your family a more personal level of service from our growing number of surgeries in Bridgend, Bristol, Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Gate, Newport and Swansea.
You do not need to be registered with us to be seen by our doctors (Consultations are available to unregistered patients from £75) . However, through our range of Patient Healthcare Plans, The IGP offers greater flexibility, regular health checks & screenings for early detection and treatment. This enables you and your family to get the right advice when needed through independent opinion and if necessary specialist consultant referrals.
